Welcome to your February Blog.
I have taken the last couple of months off writing blogs as I have been in the process of healing my ankle which I broke in a random accident just before Christmas. Now I know it was the Universe’s way of both putting me on the right path but also slowing me down as I was rushing around ahead of the festive season! Naturally, when I did it I was absolutely useless to all concerned and had initially to be waited upon hand and foot (no pun)!
Well now we have it. It’s February already! And we celebrate Imbolc on the very first day of it’s month. A joyous occasion as google describes it as “The celebration of Imbolc originates from the Celts. Imbolc symbolizes the halfway point between the winter solstice (Yule) and the spring equinox (Ostara).
The word “imbolc” means “in the belly of the Mother,” because the seeds of Spring are beginning to stir in the belly of Mother Earth.
I am very apparent that I have a lot of Southern Hemisphere people within my community and whilst Imbolc is festival of heading towards Spring, you have the joys of the Harvest to look forward and reaping the rewards that you have been undertaking all year.
So, what are you all planting ahead of Spring this year? For me, I have been working recently, on a new project which I plan to bring to fruition in Spring. This is my Self-Love Journal. I am in discussions with an Editor about the finalisation ahead of trialling it, but I am super excited. Just like my cards it is fully channelled and I have been experiencing its healing.
