Welcome to June. Woohoo, it’s finally summer! We welcome not just the full moon on the 3rd and 4th of June but we also have Midsummer or Solstice to look forward to on the 21 June also.
So what does this all mean to us mere mortals on Earth?
Well for the full moon (like all full moons), it is a time for clearing and removal of anything no longer serving us. With the stagnant energies which were hanging over from Mercury’s retrograde in late May, and the shadow of the retrograde – which in my opinion was actually worse. It truly is a good time to do as much clearing out of your Soul which you may feel is stagnant and needs cleansing.
So what does this mean, I hear you ask?
The three things which always help me are firstly, Grounding, getting out into nature, and being at one with the woods and trees. Getting my feet into the grass and feeling the energies of the earth. Planting any final plants which still require planting and getting my hands into the earth to feel its goodness.
Secondly, it’s shadow work or mirroring your Soul. This is where you look deep into yourself and see what areas of yourself you want to shine a light upon to improve. Nobody is perfect, and nor should you truly strive to be, but there are always areas of your life that might need some light that you have been burying and avoiding tackling and it is these areas I am suggesting need looking into.
Finally, and this is where the fun comes in. It’s creation. What lights up your Soul? Is it art? Singing or Drama? Why not start a brand new vision board or dust off the old one and update it with what you want to ensure harvests in the Autumn? Really go deep and seek what your Soul is crying out to create and make a start. It will lighten up your heart and you will start feeling the Soul a lot lighter and brighter.
